Llev\u00e1bamos casi una hora y media, cinco o seis adultos, unos quince ni\u00f1os y yo. Nuestro proyecto era grabar en video un concurso de natividad para una producci\u00f3n de transmisi\u00f3n. Quer\u00eda que el segmento durara unos cinco o seis minutos, pero fiel a su forma, me tom\u00f3 diez veces m\u00e1s tiempo grabarlo. No es que los ni\u00f1os se portaran mal; fue solo un factor de la tecnolog\u00eda involucrada y la "puesta en escena" de los grupos de ni\u00f1os de cinco a diez a\u00f1os que estaban realmente listos para un refrigerio. Ah, y un hermoso beb\u00e9 de diez semanas que hab\u00eda tenido suficiente tiempo frente a la c\u00e1mara por una noche.<\/span><\/p>\n

Como no est\u00e1bamos grabando sonido, pod\u00eda hablar con los ni\u00f1os desde un costado mientras se acomodaban. Dir\u00eda cosas como: \u201cPastores, ac\u00e9rquense al pesebre\u201d, o \u201c\u00c1ngeles, recuerden sonre\u00edr; este es un momento feliz\u201d. Les record\u00e9 a los tres reyes que miraran al beb\u00e9 antes de dejar sus regalos y los indiqu\u00e9 a arrodillarse porque eran sabios y sab\u00edan que este beb\u00e9 era Jes\u00fas, el Mes\u00edas, el Salvador del mundo. <\/span><\/p>\n

En un momento, mientras los ni\u00f1os esperaban en la fila para continuar una vez m\u00e1s, me encontr\u00e9 dici\u00e9ndoles que las personas que vieron al reci\u00e9n nacido Pr\u00edncipe de Paz esa noche tambi\u00e9n tuvieron que esperarlo por mucho tiempo. Y luego, como soy maestra, continu\u00e9 diciendo que lo estamos esperando nuevamente, pero esta vez no vendr\u00e1 como un beb\u00e9 y todos se inclinar\u00e1n ante \u00c9l. Finalmente, dimos por terminado y les dije a los ni\u00f1os que se quitaran los disfraces y los dejaran en las mesas antes de irse. Un ni\u00f1o, que hab\u00eda sido uno de los reyes, me entreg\u00f3 su t\u00fanica p\u00farpura demasiado grande y dijo: \u201cEstuvimos all\u00ed\u201d. Se\u00f1al\u00e9 detr\u00e1s de \u00e9l a nuestro set y dije: "\u00bfQuieres decir all\u00ed?" \u201cNo\u201d, respondi\u00f3, \u201cQuiero decir que realmente estuvimos all\u00ed. Como si una peque\u00f1a parte de esas personas descendiera en nosotros, as\u00ed que yo estaba realmente all\u00ed, como un rey, inclin\u00e1ndome\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

Record\u00e9 lo quieto que hab\u00eda estado cuando estaba arrodillado frente a nuestra joven Mary y el beb\u00e9. \u00a1Y en ese instante, lo supe! Esto no hab\u00eda sido solo una sesi\u00f3n de grabaci\u00f3n de video para \u00e9l; por unos momentos fugaces, su Esp\u00edritu hab\u00eda sentido el asombro de esa Noche Santa. \u00a1Conoc\u00eda en su coraz\u00f3n la maravilla de la adoraci\u00f3n a los pies del Maestro!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a1Qu\u00e9 asombroso! Pens\u00e9 que solo est\u00e1bamos grabando a algunos ni\u00f1os adorables para que las familias de la Iglesia disfrutaran verlos.
