\u2013 Presidente del qu\u00f3rum David Van Fleet<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

El Qu\u00f3rum del Sumo Sacerdote se reuni\u00f3 dos veces en julio para las clases presentadas por el \u00e9lder Alex Vun Cannon sobre el tema \u201cLa Iglesia del Primog\u00e9nito\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

En la reuni\u00f3n de septiembre, los sumos sacerdotes discutieron e hicieron comentarios finales y cambios en su informe sobre \u201cRecomendaciones para enriquecer los servicios de oraci\u00f3n de las ramas\u201d. Este borrador final ha sido enviado a la Primera Presidencia para su revisi\u00f3n y posible publicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Durante alg\u00fan tiempo, el qu\u00f3rum ha estado revisando y discutiendo la \u201cCarta de instrucciones\u201d de Jos\u00e9 Smith III con respecto a la sucesi\u00f3n del Presidente de la Iglesia. Esa carta fue publicada en el Saints' Herald del 13 de marzo de 1912, y tambi\u00e9n en History of the Church (Vol. 6, pp. 559-577). Se aconsej\u00f3 al qu\u00f3rum que preparara una \u201cResoluci\u00f3n sobre la sucesi\u00f3n\u201d siguiendo las pautas que se encuentran en la carta. Pero antes de discutir los proyectos futuros, el Consejo quisiera agradecer a todos los maestros, participantes y ayudantes que hicieron que el Retiro de mujeres de octubre de 2015 fuera tan memorable. Fuimos bendecidos con 96 mujeres que asistieron al retiro y seis clases maravillosas. Nuevamente, \u201cgracias\u201d a todos los que hicieron que el retiro fuera tan inolvidable.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

El pr\u00f3ximo proyecto del Consejo de Mujeres ser\u00e1 actualizar y revitalizar la p\u00e1gina web del Consejo en el sitio web de la Iglesia. Orden de los Patriarcas<\/h2>\n

Hay 16 hombres llamados por Dios para servir al pueblo de la Iglesia Remanente como patriarcas. La orden ha estado ocupada ofreciendo ministerio en las ramas, en reuniones, retiros y campamentos, dando bendiciones patriarcales, bendiciones especiales y ofreciendo los consejos necesarios.<\/p>\n

Queremos recordar a los miembros de la Iglesia Remanente la oportunidad que tienen de recibir su Bendici\u00f3n Patriarcal. La Bendici\u00f3n Patriarcal ha sido una ordenanza en la Iglesia desde la Restauraci\u00f3n en 1830 y est\u00e1 disponible para todos los miembros a partir de los 16 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

La ra\u00edz del significado de las palabras "bendito" y "bendici\u00f3n" es "feliz". En el contexto de la Bendici\u00f3n Patriarcal, no es una sensaci\u00f3n c\u00e1lida y difusa, ni ning\u00fan otro sentimiento placentero. Es la cualidad de la felicidad que est\u00e1 atrapada en la palabra \u201cgozo\u201d, como en, \u201cexisten los hombres para que tengan gozo\u201d (II Nefi 1:115). Una bendici\u00f3n patriarcal es un ministerio especial de imposici\u00f3n de manos impartido por un patriarca y destinado a brindar a los destinatarios consejo, gu\u00eda y ayuda para vivir la vida de una manera que produzca bendici\u00f3n o felicidad, gozo eterno y satisfacci\u00f3n. .
