Convertirse en una Dama Elegida para Cristo<\/em>. Melody Moore y Leith Setter de Independence se unieron a nosotros y compartieron cuatro sesiones para ayudarnos en nuestro camino como damas electas. \u201cDejando de lado las cosas del mundo\u201d, dirigido por el obispo Dan Keleher, y
\u201cAf\u00e9rrense a los convenios que hacen\u201d, dirigido por el patriarca Ralph Damon.<\/p>\n
Tambi\u00e9n tuvimos emocionantes clases en vivo que incluyeron:<\/p>\n

Como siempre nos divertimos cada vez que nos reunimos, los juegos y rompecabezas que se jugaron durante el fin de semana enfatizaron y reforzaron nuestro tema. Seguimos enfocadas en vivir nuestras vidas como damas elegidas sin importar lo que estemos haciendo o d\u00f3nde estemos. En alg\u00fan momento durante el fin de semana, nos dimos cuenta de que realmente somos siervas especiales del Se\u00f1or. Ten\u00edamos entre 8 y 92 a\u00f1os en el retiro, pero todos tenemos trabajo que hacer. Ya no es solo algo para discutir, es una realidad. Ya nos hemos convertido en damas elegidas para Cristo; solo necesitamos afinar nuestras habilidades y dar un paso de fe con valent\u00eda, logrando tareas que nunca pensamos que podr\u00edamos hacer. Peggy Harper trajo chales y mantas afganas que hab\u00eda estado haciendo para nosotros en los \u00faltimos meses. Qu\u00e9 manera tan creativa de unirnos como hermanas y darnos un recuerdo duradero de nuestro retiro de fin de semana. Aunque pocas en n\u00famero, siete damas de nuestro distrito, \u00e9ramos poderosas en esp\u00edritu. Cada noche termin\u00f3, por supuesto, con una fogata en el interior.<\/p>\n
\u00bfQu\u00e9 hubi\u00e9ramos hecho en el retiro sin nuestros maravillosos chefs gourmet que prepararon todas nuestras comidas y bocadillos? Gracias Darrin Moore y Ray Setter, quienes no solo cocinaron para nosotros, sino que tambi\u00e9n hicieron todo el trabajo de KP para que pudi\u00e9ramos concentrarnos en nuestras clases. Se nos ocurri\u00f3 qu\u00e9 maravillosa coincidencia fue que estos dos chefs de clase mundial acompa\u00f1aran a las dos encantadoras damas del Consejo General de Mujeres de la Iglesia, Melody Moore y Leith Setter. Estas damas de m\u00faltiples talentos, que hab\u00edan venido a dar las presentaciones en video, participaron de todo coraz\u00f3n en todas nuestras actividades de fin de semana. Encajan tan bien que las adoptamos extraoficialmente en el grupo de mujeres del Distrito Sur Central. Ellas tambi\u00e9n son damas muy elegidas para Cristo.<\/p>\n
El domingo por la ma\u00f1ana, nos unimos a Blackgum Branch para los servicios de la iglesia. Coral Rogers dirigi\u00f3 la hora de la escuela dominical con un debate basado en el editorial de la edici\u00f3n de mayo\/junio\/julio\/agosto de 2018 de Los tiempos acelerados<\/em> dada por el presidente Frederick N. Larsen. Sus pensamientos inspiradores sobre estos \u00faltimos d\u00edas provocaron una urgencia y una emoci\u00f3n que se extendi\u00f3 como la p\u00f3lvora por toda la clase.
