            All'interno del mondo giudeo-cristiano, solo tre grandi organizzazioni religiose sono legate alle loro storie: ebrei, cattolici e, in particolare, Santi degli Ultimi Giorni (di tutte le convinzioni e credenze). Siamo portatori di questo punto di vista. I Santi ricoprono un ruolo ben preciso nella storia cristiana e, di fatto, inconsapevolmente, nell'"interpretazione cristiana della storia". Sant'Agostino (354-430 d.C.), nel suo Confessioni, <\/em>suggerisce che la storia cristiana segue un corso rettilineo, incrollabile, dalla Genesi all'Apocalisse. La storia NON si ripete. Alcuni ritengono che la storia si ripeta, altri hanno optato per una prospettiva storica ciclica. La storia dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni riafferma i concetti antichi di Agostino. I biblisti e coloro che leggono gli scritti dei \u201cPadri cristiani\u201d sono d'accordo con lui. Ha continuato a sviluppare la "teoria della linea retta" nel suo ultimo libro, La citt\u00e0 di Dio.<\/em> Citando Paolo nel Nuovo Testamento, Agostino riconosce pubblicamente che Cristo \u00e8 l'unico veicolo di salvezza.                                     tentazioni fino alla fine. . . .<\/span><\/p>\n
