\u201cUn po' pi\u00f9 lontano\u201d<\/h1>\n

In Matteo 26:36 leggiamo la seguente parte di quel passo della Scrittura. Sebbene sia breve, ci\u00f2 che queste poche parole trasmettono \u00e8 incommensurabile.<\/h3>\n

"E and\u00f2 un po' pi\u00f9 in l\u00e0, e cadde con la faccia a terra..." <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

In queste pochissime parole c'\u00e8 uno sguardo intimo nel cuore amorevole del nostro Salvatore. Nella notte del suo tradimento e arresto, si rec\u00f2 nell'orto del Getsemani in compagnia dei suoi stessi discepoli. Il suo cuore bramava la comunione e la compagnia, in quell'ora di prova, di coloro che erano cos\u00ec intimamente legati a Lui. Giuda si era gi\u00e0 ritirato dalla compagnia. Un sentimento di tristezza deve essere sceso in quel piccolo gruppo di discepoli mentre Giuda \u00e8 scivolato fuori nelle tenebre della notte e si \u00e8 unito ai nemici di Ges\u00f9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dopo l'inizio della Comunione con questi dodici fratelli, dopo la cena pasquale e dopo il ritiro di Giuda, i restanti undici cantarono insieme un inno e inizi\u00f2 la marcia verso il Getsemani. A otto dei discepoli la parola di nostro Signore fu: "Siediti qui, mentre io vado laggi\u00f9 e prego." <\/em><\/strong>I tre che componevano la Sua cerchia ristretta di leadership si spinsero con Lui pi\u00f9 lontano nel Giardino. A questi tre la parola data fu: "... rimani qui e guarda con me." <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ora notate il significato dell'espressione: "E' ANDATO UN PO' LONTANO". In agonia mentale e spirituale, si prostr\u00f2 a terra per pregare, "...non la mia volont\u00e0, ma la tua sia fatta." <\/em><\/strong>Cos\u00ec parl\u00f2 al suo Padre celeste. Allora quanto \u00e8 lontano \u201cun po' pi\u00f9 lontano\u201d <\/em><\/strong>ci chiediamo? Luke ci dice che si trattava "... una pietra fusa." <\/em><\/strong>Le parole sono indicative della distanza che lo separava dai tre apostoli. Sono anche indicativi della maggiore distanza che Ges\u00f9 percorse DA SOLO mentre portava i nostri peccati sulla croce. <\/span><\/p>\n

Quando Ges\u00f9 attravers\u00f2 quell'esperienza del Getsemani e fu infine crocifisso sulla croce del Calvario, and\u00f2 pi\u00f9 lontano di quanto qualsiasi altra persona potesse mai andare per portare la redenzione all'umanit\u00e0 caduta. \u00c8 andato pi\u00f9 lontano di quanto la legge in vigore in quel momento potesse mai andare. Il suo ministero era di condanna. Ges\u00f9 and\u00f2 pi\u00f9 lontano di quanto fosse andato qualsiasi profeta. Il loro ministero, sebbene cos\u00ec importante, consisteva nell'invitare le persone a pentirsi dei loro peccati e nell'avvertire dei giudizi che potevano e sarebbero venuti da Dio. <\/span><\/p>\n

Andando sulla croce per morire per i peccati del mondo, Ges\u00f9 fece ci\u00f2 che era assolutamente impossibile per qualsiasi altra persona. And\u00f2 un po' pi\u00f9 lontano \u2013 nella povert\u00e0, nell'abnegazione, nel sacrificio, nell'amore e nel dolore \u2013 ma nella forma pi\u00f9 pura dell'amore che potesse sperare di esprimersi. "Nessuno ha amore pi\u00f9 grande di questo, che un uomo deponga la sua vita per i suoi amici" <\/em><\/strong>(Giovanni 15:13). <\/span><\/p>\n

Considerata la distanza che Ges\u00f9 ha percorso per portarci alla redenzione eterna, consideriamo come queste parole possono applicarsi a noi stessi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dovremmo andare a poco pi\u00f9 lontano <\/span>di quanto Satana vorrebbe che andassimo. Ci farebbe scendere a compromessi. Non vorrebbe che andassimo per tutta la strada che Ges\u00f9 ci ordina di andare. Il suggerimento di Satana \u00e8 che possiamo essere religiosi, ma dobbiamo guardarci dall'andare troppo oltre. Stiamo ascoltando la voce di Dio o la voce di Satana? Qualcuno ha detto bene: \u201cDobbiamo incoronare Ges\u00f9 Signore di tutti, altrimenti non lo incoroniamo affatto Signore\u201d. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Dobbiamo andare a poco pi\u00f9 lontano <\/span>alla perfezione. La perfezione per la quale ci sforziamo non \u00e8 verso la perfezione umana, ma verso la perfezione santa. La santa perfezione \u00e8 il risultato della presenza dello Spirito Santo. \u201c\u2026andiamo avanti verso la perfezione\u2026\u201d <\/em><\/strong>(Ebrei 6:1). <\/span><\/p>\n

Dovremmo andare a poco pi\u00f9 lontano <\/span>nella nostra vita di preghiera. La preghiera \u00e8 il battito del cuore del Santo. Facciamo bene a meditare ed emulare l'esempio del Maestro di trovare momenti tranquilli e appartati per essere soli con nostro Padre in tutte le nostre preghiere. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dovremmo andare un po' pi\u00f9 in l\u00e0 <\/span>nel nostro amore per Dio. Il nostro amore per Lui trover\u00e0 espressione nella testimonianza amorevole \u2013 la vita quotidiana. Pu\u00f2 sembrare un po' banale per molti, ma per una madre, un padre o un nonno, questo esempio tocca il cuore: una bambina \u00e8 arrivata correndo e saltando in grembo a sua madre. Gett\u00f2 le braccia al collo di sua madre e baci\u00f2 ancora e ancora. La madre, un po' sorpresa, disse quello che molti di noi potrebbero dire a questa improvvisa manifestazione di affetto: "Mary, cosa vuoi adesso?" Mary rispose rapidamente e con tenerezza: "Mamma, non voglio niente, voglio solo amarti". Il nostro Padre celeste sarebbe lieto che i Suoi figli venissero spesso da Lui, non per cercare qualche favore, ma per sedersi alla Sua presenza e amarlo. E poi uscire ogni giorno, in onore, per servirlo. "E lui \u00e8 andato un po' pi\u00f9 in l\u00e0..." <\/em><\/strong>Vuole? Dovrei?<\/span><\/p>\n
