Man mano che crescevo e si formavano rami della Restaurazione, le spiegazioni di ci\u00f2 che significava la pienezza del Vangelo divennero pi\u00f9 varie e alquanto nebulose. Il sacerdozio semplicemente non poteva quantificare la pienezza del Vangelo. Ci sono alcuni di noi che possono ripensare a quando abbiamo visto amici e persone care lasciare la fede e unirsi ad altre fedi che insegnavano solo una piccola parte della verit\u00e0. Mi sembrava inconcepibile che qualcuno potesse unirsi a un&#039;altra chiesa, denunciare il Libro di Mormon e Dottrina e Alleanze e credere a dottrine come &quot;Una volta salvato, sempre salvato&quot;, &quot;Dottrina dell&#039;elezione&quot; o che un uomo potesse perdonare i tuoi peccati.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 stato quando ho iniziato a creare un curriculum completo per la scuola della chiesa, ho capito che uno dei motivi principali per cui stavamo perdendo i nostri giovani adulti era la loro mancanza di conoscenza e comprensione della fede. Quando ho ripensato a tutte queste esperienze, mi sono reso conto che la maggior parte delle perdite erano dovute alla mancanza di comprensione della pienezza del vangelo eterno. Da allora, mi sono impegnato a studiare e documentare il pi\u00f9 accuratamente possibile una definizione chiara della pienezza in modo che non ci siano dubbi nella mente dei santi su questa meravigliosa dottrina salvavita.<\/p>\n<p>All&#039;inizio della Chiesa rimanente ci \u00e8 stata data una guida profetica riguardo alla pienezza del Vangelo. <em><strong>Lo Spirito dice ancora: &#039;Continua, mio fedele Resto, nello spirito di unit\u00e0, a rafforzare la tua fede, a diffondere l&#039;amore di Cristo in un mondo malato di peccato, a studiare per comprendere la pienezza del mio vangelo, e se tu fallo, sarai benedetto oltre misura. Il regno di Dio attende la tua risposta. Preparati per lo Sposo.&#039; Amen&quot;<\/strong><\/em> (DeA R-145:7a-b).<\/p>\n<p>Questa rivelazione di Dio dovrebbe elettrizzare ogni santo a causa della promessa: <em><strong>\u201cstudia per comprendere la pienezza del mio vangelo e, se lo farai, sarai oltre misura benedetto\u201d<\/strong><\/em> (enfasi aggiunta). Chi non vuole essere benedetto oltre misura?<\/p>\n<p>La nostra dichiarazione di missione afferma che la comprensione della pienezza \u00e8 un precursore della costruzione del regno: \u201cLa Chiesa rimanente di Ges\u00f9 Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni \u00e8 stata chiamata a rinnovarsi per<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> predicare la pienezza del vangelo di Ges\u00f9 Cristo a tutti coloro che ascolteranno<\/span>, e per preparare e radunare un popolo giusto per l&#039;edificazione del Regno di Dio sulla terra, Sion\u00bb (corsivo aggiunto).<\/p>\n<p>Riunire e preparare un popolo retto ci richiede di seguire i comandamenti che sono dati, di ricordare la Bibbia e il Libro di Mormon che contengono la pienezza del vangelo eterno (vedere DeA 42:5a) e che noi <em><strong>\u201cosserveranno le alleanze e gli articoli della chiesa\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/em> (DeA 42:5b).<\/p>\n<p>Non possiamo insegnare la rettitudine se non siamo giusti. C&#039;\u00e8 un livello di umilt\u00e0 e santit\u00e0 richiesto, non solo nella nostra vita, ma nella vita di coloro che conduciamo e di coloro che si radunano. Studiando e cercando di vivere la pienezza, possiamo iniziare a raggiungere un livello di impegno che ci aiuta a trovare la nostra via per uscire da Babilonia, elevarci al di sopra del mondo secolare e santificarci.<\/p>\n<p>Quindi, semplicemente, qual \u00e8 la pienezza del Vangelo? Alcuni dei primi principi della dottrina della salvezza si trovano in quasi tutte le religioni del 1800. Sono naturalmente fede, pentimento, battesimo, imposizione delle mani, risurrezione dei morti e giudizio eterno. Tuttavia, la comprensione di tali principi e la loro applicazione \u00e8 ampiamente fraintesa. \u00c8 qui che la pienezza del vangelo restaura il <em><strong>\u201ccose semplici e preziose\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/em> (1 Nefi 3:171) che mancavano a quel tempo e aggiunge maggiore luce a quei princ\u00ecpi, mancanti e non mancanti.<\/p>\n<p>La pienezza del vangelo si riferisce alla dottrina della redenzione insegnata da Ges\u00f9 Cristo, nostro mediatore. Questa dottrina ci permette di ottenere la vita alla salvezza che ci riporta alla presenza di Dio per vivere come cittadini del regno. Consiste in alleanze, leggi, dottrine, ordinanze, opere sante e sacrificio di tutte le cose necessarie per realizzare questa salvezza. Le scritture fondamentali per la pienezza del Vangelo sono contenute in Ebrei 6:1-2. Tuttavia, la spiegazione di questi richiede il Libro di Mormon e Dottrina e Alleanze.
