Diventare una donna eletta per Cristo<\/em>. Melody Moore e Leith Setter di Independence si sono unite a noi e hanno condiviso quattro sessioni per aiutarci nel nostro viaggio come donne elette. Dato che ci divertiamo sempre ogni volta che ci riuniamo, i giochi e gli enigmi giocati durante il fine settimana hanno enfatizzato e rafforzato il nostro tema. Siamo rimasti concentrati sul vivere le nostre vite come donne elette, non importa cosa stiamo facendo o dove siamo. A volte, durante il fine settimana, ci siamo resi conto di essere davvero speciali ancelle del Signore. Avevamo un'et\u00e0 compresa tra gli 8 ei 92 anni al ritiro, ma abbiamo tutti del lavoro da fare. Non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 solo qualcosa di cui discutere, \u00e8 una realt\u00e0. Siamo gi\u00e0 diventate donne elette per Cristo: dobbiamo solo affinare le nostre capacit\u00e0 e uscire coraggiosamente nella fede, portando a termine compiti che non avremmo mai pensato di poter svolgere. Peggy Harper ha portato scialli e pantaloni afgani che aveva realizzato per noi negli ultimi mesi. Che modo creativo per unirci come sorelle e darci un ricordo duraturo del nostro fine settimana di ritiro. Sebbene pochi di numero, sette donne del nostro distretto, eravamo potenti nello spirito. Cosa avremmo fatto al ritiro senza i nostri meravigliosi chef gourmet che hanno preparato tutti i nostri pasti e spuntini? Grazie Darrin Moore e Ray Setter, che non solo hanno cucinato per noi, ma hanno anche svolto tutto il compito di KP in modo che potessimo concentrarci sulle nostre lezioni.
