Isaiah Woods

President Teacher Quorum

I was born in Independence, Missouri in March of 2001. I have been raised by godly parents, who have taught me from my youth in the ways of our Lord. I am a fifth-generation member of the (restoration gospel) church, and I have been blessed to have attended Center Branch my whole life. My congregation has stepped up and taught me and taken care of me as a true representation of the family of Christ. I have learned so much from the men and women of the church who have come before me.

I was homeschooled all the way through high school, which allowed me to have my entire life including my education centered around Christ. My schooling allowed me to serve at lunch partners by delivering lunches, and going through the missionaries in training program, as well as other Christ centered activities that wouldn’t have been possible through public school. I am now going to college to become a Physical Therapist Assistant, where I am able to apply everything that I have learned over the years.

In January of 2017 I was ordained to the office of teacher. Since then, I have had the opportunity to see many changes in the ministry of the Aaronic priesthood. I have been a part of implementing Aaronic moments and restarting our home ministry program. I am looking forward to the continued growth and restoration of the Aaronic priesthood’s role of “polishing the stones”. At the 2021 general conference I was set apart as the president of the teacher’s quorum and I look forward to all the Lord has in store as I seek His will in how to best direct my brethren in the magnifying of our callings.
