Our Mission:
To be the Lord's hands and feet by feeding and clothing the needy in Independence, Missouri.
Our staff is comprised of caring individuals from area churches and the community. We serve alongside the many fine charitable organizations and churches in Eastern Jackson County. Lunch Partners is excited to be a charter member of “Extended Hands, Collaborate,” uniting area groups in an effort to bring lasting solutions for homelessness and food insecurity locally.
Ministries
Weekly meal service for Independence, MO needy or struggling individuals. Open year-round with some weather and holiday exceptions.
Provides a bag of shelf-stable items for individuals in Independence, MO struggling with food scarcity. Individuals/families requesting this service should sign-up during Lunch Partners meal service.
Offers clothing from newborn to adult for all seasons of the year. Individuals in need of clothing may sign-up during Lunch Partners meal service for a Clothes Closet appointment the next week. ID requested.
