OUR CONDOLENCES
The Remnant Church has lost three dear and dedicated sisters over the past few months. Sister Shirley Church of Canyon, TX, and Sisters Gail Coffey and Gloria Berger of the Independence, MO area. Sister Church was the wife of Patriarch Fred Church and the sister-in-law of High Priest Steve Church. Sister Coffey was the wife of Elder Mike Coffey. Each of these ladies had a strong desire to see the coming of Zion and loved their Lord deeply. We extend our prayers to all of the families and friends of these wonderful ladies.
NEED FOR SPECIAL PRAYERS
Two of our men of the Quorum of Twelve are in need of the deep prayers of the Saints along with one of our branch leaders. Brothers Don Dunn and Gary Argotsinger are facing health issues which are of heavy concerns for them and their families and Bill Derr of Center Branch continues to struggle with the after-effects fo his recent automobile accident The Saints are encouraged to include these men in their daily prayers for health and God’s continued healing touch upon them. Further, continuing to remember Sisters Mary Lou Larsen and Pat Shank for their health needs is also encouraged as they continues to struggle with health concerns.

GENERAL CONFERENCE RESOLUTION REQUESTS
If there are any resolutions which would be forthcoming from any of the quorums and orders of the Church, please submit them to the First Presidency by March 15th so they can be included in the conference notebook.
CONFERENCE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS
As we did last year, there will be educational sessions held on Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to noon. A partial list of presentations will include the introdcution of the new Children’s Hymnal, an overview of Consecration and Tithing, writing for Church publication, the Church’s community outreach, becoming an everyday missionary and a report on the upcoming Church welcome video. Other topics are being planned at this time for presentation on these days. We hope the Saints who gather early for Conference and those of the Center Place will take advantage of these presentations.
FASTING FOR CONFERENCE
The Quorum of Twelve and the First Presidency are encouraging the Saints to join together in a 40 day fast for the success and support of the upcoming conference beginning February 24th and ending April 3rd. That effort will begin before Saints in the outlying areas will receive this notice but are encouraged to join in as soon as you receive this issue of The Hastening Times. We anticipate a wonderful conference this coming April. Further, in responding to the several requests for more ministry during the General Conference time, we will be scheduling preaching services on Monday and Tuesday evenings prior to the start of conference on Wednesday evening. Speakers from the outlying areas will be scheduled, giving them opportunity to speak to the assembly of the Saints. We look forward to these additional eveningns of ministry.
IOWA REUNION CLOSING DATE CHANGE
Brother Gary Artgotsinger has informed us that the closing date of the Iowa Reunion will be June 10th instead of June 11th due to a scheduling conflict. Campers are encouraged to make note of this adjustment.
