\u201cUm pouco mais longe\u201d<\/h1>\n

Em Mateus 26:36, lemos a seguinte parte dessa passagem das escrituras. Embora seja breve, o que essas poucas palavras transmitem s\u00e3o imensur\u00e1veis.<\/h3>\n

\u201cE ele foi um pouco mais adiante, e caiu com o rosto em terra...\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

Nestas poucas palavras h\u00e1 um vislumbre \u00edntimo do cora\u00e7\u00e3o amoroso de nosso Salvador. Na noite de Sua trai\u00e7\u00e3o e pris\u00e3o, Ele foi ao Jardim do Gets\u00eamani em companhia de Seus pr\u00f3prios disc\u00edpulos. Seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o ansiava pela comunh\u00e3o e companheirismo, naquela hora dif\u00edcil, daqueles que estavam t\u00e3o intimamente associados a Ele. Judas j\u00e1 havia se retirado da empresa. Um sentimento de tristeza deve ter invadido aquele pequeno grupo de disc\u00edpulos quando Judas saiu para as sombras escuras da noite e deu as m\u00e3os aos inimigos de Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio da Comunh\u00e3o com esses doze irm\u00e3os, ap\u00f3s a ceia da P\u00e1scoa, e ap\u00f3s a retirada de Judas, os onze restantes cantaram um hino juntos e a marcha em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao Gets\u00eamani come\u00e7ou. Para oito dos disc\u00edpulos, a palavra de nosso Senhor foi: \u201cSente-se aqui, enquanto eu vou al\u00e9m e oro.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Os tr\u00eas que compunham Seu c\u00edrculo \u00edntimo de lideran\u00e7a avan\u00e7aram com Ele mais para dentro do Jardim. A estes tr\u00eas foi dada a palavra: \u201c\u2026 fiquem aqui e observem comigo.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Agora observe o significado da express\u00e3o \u201cELE FOI UM POUCO MAIS\u201d. Em agonia mental e espiritual, Ele caiu prostrado no ch\u00e3o para orar, \u201c\u2026n\u00e3o a minha vontade, mas a tua seja feita.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Assim Ele falou com Seu Pai Celestial. Ent\u00e3o, qu\u00e3o longe \u00e9 \u201cum pouco mais longe\u201d <\/em><\/strong>n\u00f3s imaginamos? Lucas nos diz que era sobre \u201c\u2026 uma pedra lan\u00e7ada.\u201d <\/em><\/strong>As palavras s\u00e3o indicativas da dist\u00e2ncia que o separava dos tr\u00eas ap\u00f3stolos. Eles tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o sugestivos da dist\u00e2ncia maior que Jesus percorreu SOZINHO enquanto levava nossos pecados at\u00e9 a cruz. <\/span><\/p>\n

Quando Jesus passou por aquela experi\u00eancia no Gets\u00eamani e foi finalmente crucificado na cruz do Calv\u00e1rio, Ele foi mais longe do que qualquer outra pessoa poderia ir para trazer reden\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 humanidade ca\u00edda. Ele foi mais longe do que a lei em vigor naquela \u00e9poca jamais poderia ir. Seu minist\u00e9rio era de condena\u00e7\u00e3o. Jesus foi mais longe do que qualquer um dos profetas tinha ido. O minist\u00e9rio deles, embora muito importante, era chamar o povo a se arrepender de seus pecados e advertir sobre os julgamentos que poderiam e viriam de Deus. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ao ir \u00e0 cruz para morrer pelos pecados do mundo, Jesus fez o que era totalmente imposs\u00edvel para qualquer outra pessoa fazer. Ele foi um pouco mais longe \u2013 na pobreza, abnega\u00e7\u00e3o, sacrif\u00edcio, amor e tristeza \u2013 mas na forma mais pura de amor que poderia esperar ser expresso. \u201cNingu\u00e9m tem maior amor do que este, de dar algu\u00e9m a sua vida pelos seus amigos\u201d <\/em><\/strong>(Jo\u00e3o 15:13). <\/span><\/p>\n

Tendo considerado a dist\u00e2ncia que Jesus percorreu para nos levar \u00e0 reden\u00e7\u00e3o eterna, vamos considerar como essas palavras podem ser aplicadas a n\u00f3s mesmos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Devemos ir um pouco mais longe <\/span>do que Satan\u00e1s nos faria ir. Ele nos faria comprometer. Ele n\u00e3o quer que fa\u00e7amos todo o caminho que Jesus nos ordena. A sugest\u00e3o de Satan\u00e1s \u00e9 que podemos ser religiosos, mas devemos evitar ir longe demais. Estamos ouvindo a voz de Deus ou a voz de Satan\u00e1s? Algu\u00e9m disse bem: \u201cDevemos coroar Jesus Senhor de tudo, ou ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o O coroamos Senhor de forma alguma.\u201d <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Devemos ir um pouco mais longe <\/span>at\u00e9 a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o. A perfei\u00e7\u00e3o pela qual nos esfor\u00e7amos n\u00e3o \u00e9 para a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o humana, mas para a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o santa. A perfei\u00e7\u00e3o santa \u00e9 o resultado da habita\u00e7\u00e3o do Esp\u00edrito Santo. \u201c\u2026 prossigamos at\u00e9 a perfei\u00e7\u00e3o\u2026\u201d <\/em><\/strong>(Hebreus 6:1). <\/span><\/p>\n

Devemos ir um pouco mais longe <\/span>em nossa vida de ora\u00e7\u00e3o. A ora\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a batida do cora\u00e7\u00e3o do Santo. Fazemos bem em ponderar e imitar o exemplo do Mestre de encontrar momentos calmos e isolados para ficar a s\u00f3s com nosso Pai em todas as nossas ora\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dever\u00edamos ir um pouco mais longe <\/span>em nosso amor por Deus. Nosso amor por Ele encontrar\u00e1 express\u00e3o no testemunho amoroso \u2013 na vida cotidiana. Pode parecer um pouco banal para muitos, mas para uma m\u00e3e, pai ou av\u00f4, este exemplo aperta o cora\u00e7\u00e3o: Uma garotinha veio correndo e pulando no colo da m\u00e3e. Ela jogou os bra\u00e7os em volta do pesco\u00e7o de sua m\u00e3e e beijou de novo e de novo. A m\u00e3e, um pouco surpresa, disse o que muitos de n\u00f3s poder\u00edamos dizer a essa s\u00fabita demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o de afeto: \u201cMaria, o que voc\u00ea quer agora?\u201d Mary respondeu r\u00e1pida e carinhosamente: \u201cMam\u00e3e, eu n\u00e3o quero nada, s\u00f3 quero te amar\u201d. Nosso Pai Celestial gostaria que Seus filhos viessem a Ele com frequ\u00eancia, n\u00e3o para buscar algum favor, mas para sentar-se em Sua presen\u00e7a e am\u00e1-Lo. E ent\u00e3o sair diariamente, em honra, para servi-Lo. \u201cE ele foi um pouco mais longe\u2026\u201d <\/em><\/strong>Voc\u00ea poderia? Devo eu?<\/span><\/p>\n
