SECTION 177

Before a general conference of the church, I spend time considering and praying about what message(s) our heavenly Father would like to share with the church. I consider what issues may be present in our world’s situations that God might counsel us on, or what message God might share with us as to how we might bring ourselves closer to building His Kingdom.

On March 1st of 2026, I was in a prayer meeting and felt impressed that God was desiring to share with us the following counsel. I made quick notes from which I penned the following:

1a. Verily, I say unto the members of my flock: These words that I share with you are to help you as you traverse these days of chaos.

b. It is often difficult to keep your focus upon that which is most important when so many voices are competing for your attention and allegiance.

c. You my people have made covenants with me. You have spent time with me. You have spent time in my words. As you have integrated those words into your thoughts and allowed them to guide you, you have begun to be aligned with me, and to do as I would like you to do. Once that takes place, you become accountable to me in this life and in the judgement to come. As you follow those promptings, others will see that you can be trusted. Your recognized accountability means that you are accountable to God and should respectfully fear the day of your judgement. Your actions and testimony will allow you to serve me in my Kingdom.

2a. There are many in the world around you that do not believe in me or do not wish to be in relationship with me or do not desire to serve in my Kingdom. Because of this they do not always speak their words considering whether they align with my teachings, or what the consequences and implications might be.

b. They speak to lift up their own agenda. When God is not honored, men often honor and serve themselves. Be cautious of what they say.

c. Consider their words carefully and weigh them against my words. Remember my counsel to trust not in the arm of flesh.

d. As has been promised, a day of accountability will come for all. All will be held accountable for what they say, and what they hear, and how they have acted upon those words.

e. Men who do not follow God’s ways can be deceitful because they do not realize that they are accountable to God. Philosophies which are not of me can damage the individual soul and the collective body. Again I say, sin and deception is all about you. This is a part of the chaos that you have been warned about.

3. I also counsel you to remember that repentance and forgiveness is an aspect of my gospel. When true repentance is shown, be forgiving, charitable, and loving.

4a. I counsel you to remember that the church is more than a Sunday and Wednesday night event. The church is a fellowship of servants and people who support one another.

b. The church is a body of my children.

c. The church is in the ordinances made for you from which to benefit.

d. The church is people serving and working together.

e. The church is to uplift when spiritual strength is needed.

f. The body is to consider others before self.

g. The body is to serve in love and charity.

h. The body is to come together to worship.

i. The body is designed to prepare men, women, and children for my Kingdom.

5. Often, the ways of society flow opposite the ways of God. This makes it difficult to stay on the righteous path. The guidance given to you in scripture and in the words of righteous servants, is still valid. I do not change. The gathering of my saints close together helps those in the body to stay firm and supported. The living of gospel concepts helps the body to understand the benefits of discipleship. Becoming a citizen in my Kingdom means that you change from the philosophies of men to following the teachings of God.

6. Continue to study my words. Continue to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Continue to obey my commandments. Continue to worship your God. I will not fail you.

Respectfully submitted,

Terry W. Patience
